Guiding Danya and Jim at Tijuca National Park

On the morning of July 18th I had the pleasure of guiding Danya and Jim, from the United States, in the Tijuca National Park.

Dusky-throated Hermit (Phaethornis squalidus)

Highlights of the day were Dusky-throated Hermit (Phaethornis squalidus) in its traditional exhibition arena, Channel-billed Toucan (Ramphastos vitellinus), Green-headed Tanager (Tangara seledon) and also Spot-billed Toucanet ( Selenidera maculirostris).

A couple of these fantastic toucanets posed for Jim's lens, as seen in the photo above.

I would like to thank my new North American friends for their trust in my services and Ricardo Barbosa from Pica Pau Tours for yet another recommendation. I hope to guide you again one day!
