On the morning of July 18th I had the pleasure of guiding Danya and Jim, from the United States, in the Tijuca National Park.
Dusky-throated Hermit (Phaethornis squalidus)
Highlights of the day were Dusky-throated Hermit (Phaethornis squalidus) in its traditional exhibition arena, Channel-billed Toucan (Ramphastos vitellinus), Green-headed Tanager (Tangara seledon) and also Spot-billed Toucanet ( Selenidera maculirostris).
A couple of these fantastic toucanets posed for Jim's lens, as seen in the photo above.
