Guiding Guto Magalhães at the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden.

On the morning of September 16th I was guiding my friend Guto Magalhães at the Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden. Guto started photographing birds recently but already has a impressive lifelist.

Among the highlights of the day we were able to observe or photograph the White-flanked Antwren (Myrmotherula axillaris), the Short-tailed Hawk (Buteo brachyurus), the Channel-billed Toucan (Ramphastos vitellinus), Slaty-breasted Wood-Rail (Aramide saracura) and Rusty-margined Guan (Penelope superciliaris), the latter three generally easy to register in the Garden.

I thank Guto for his trust and my friend Miguel Magro for recommending me.
