March 3rd, another day at the Tijuca National Park, this time guiding the birder Nicolas, a swis citzen living in the United Kingdom.
It was his first time in Brazil, so he had many lifers amongst Atlantic Forest endemics in a matter of a few hours. Black-capped Foliage-gleaner (Philydor atricapillus), Sharp-tailed Streamcreeper (Lochmis nematura) and Red-necked Tanager (Tangara cyanocephala) were some of the highlights.
Thank you Nicolas for trusting my services and to Ricardo Barbosa from Pica Pau Tours for the new recommendation.
