Serpa Birdwatching at the Rio de Janeiro Bird Fair

Serpa guiding at Parque Bondinho, one of the birdings promoted by the Rio Bird Fair

Between the 21st and 22nd of September, the ninth edition of Avistar Rio (Rio de Janeiro Bird Fair) took place, the regional version of Avistar Brasil (Brazilian Bird Fair), which takes place annually in São Paulo. This time the largest meeting of birdwatchers in the state of Rio de Janeiro was held at Bioparque do Rio, and was a success with the public and critics.

Guto Carvalho, creator of Avistar Brasil, was also present at the local edition, with a presentation,

Serpa Birdwatching was one of the event's supporters, promoting two guided tours, one in Tijuca National Park, on the 20th of September, and another in Parque Bondinho, in Morro da Urca and the Sugarloaf, on the 27th of the same month .

Once again, Avistar Rio was a great opportunity to meet old and new friends, meet new birdwatchers and exchange ideas about future projects. Congratulations Gustavo Pedro and Denise Monsores for the organization and can't wait for the next edition!
